Its similar because technology controls us just like it controls the society in Fahrenheit 451. We use social media to socialize rather than in person. Montag realizes he is not happy, after he has met Clarisse a teenager. Clarisse is Montag neighbor who is different because her and her family take walks, have conversations, and express how they feel. Clarisse and her family were consider the total opposite of the typical family in this novel. Happiness change how Montag thought, and he put himself in harm ways as an enemy of the government.
